Alpha Omega Campus Ministry
We exist to glorify God by making disciples through the preaching of the Word and cultivating a community of young adults who support, encourage, and challenge one another to grow in their faith in Jesus Christ.
“I am the Alpha and the Omega, the first and the last, the beginning and the end.“
– Revelation 22:13
Making Disciples of Jesus Christ
Alpha Omega is a college ministry located on the University of Nebraska, Lincoln campus. Everything we do at AO starts and ends with God’s Word.
Our mission is to provide opportunities for college and career-aged Christians to hear the preaching of the Word and serve one another through group events like Bible studies, book studies, ski trips, retreats, and informal meetings. Additionally, we seek to foster personal relationships between members through intentional mentoring efforts.
Thursday Night Bible Study
We meet at the AO house every Thursday at 7PM for prayer and singing followed by a lesson. Afterwards, we discuss the lesson, grab a bite to eat, and enjoy fellowship together.
AO doors are open year-round for Thursday Night Bible Study, even during the Summer! Not a student at UNL? No worries! AO is not exclusively for college students— we welcome all college-aged individuals seeking to learn about the Lord, and to grow as sons and daughters of God.
“Let us hold fast the confession of our hope without wavering, for He who promised is faithful; and let us consider how to stimulate one another to love and good deeds“
– Hebrews 10:23-24
